Google is experiencing a decline in traffic and super profits due to young people losing interest in using the company's search engine. They are more likely to use other platforms, including those based on artificial intelligence (AI). This is reported by The Wall Street Journal(WSJ) on November 29.

Above all, interest is declining due to the development of AI, the popularization of marketplaces and the degradation of the quality of search information issued by Google.

"According to eMarketer forecasts, in 2025, Google's share of the U.S. search advertising market will fall below 50% for the first time since the company began tracking it <...> Even chatbots with artificial intelligence, which do not know how to search the Internet, are proving increasingly capable of solving many questions," - stated in the article of the edition.

Earlier, on November 21, the U.S. Department of Justice through the court demanded that Google-owned Alphabet Corporation sell the Chrome browser to fight its monopoly in the field of online search. It is also proposed to ban Google from re-entering the browser market for five years, buying competitors and entering into contracts to install the default search engine on mobile devices.
