Representatives of the Republican Party of the United States are working on a bill that would allow them to make decisions on the budget without having to take into account the opinion of Democrats. This was reported on December 1 by NBC TV channel with reference to the interlocutors.

According to their information, the project should be adopted early next year, before Donald Trump takes office.

"The main goal of Republican Party leaders is to extend Trump's 2017 tax law and prevent the expiration of $3.3 trillion in tax breaks at the end of 2025," NBC reported.

The network's interlocutors also said they want to give the new administration more resources to fulfill Trump's campaign promise of "mass deportations," eliminate clean energy funding in current U.S. President Joe Biden 's inflation-reducing legislation and use the package to cut other federal spending.

Earlier in the day, lawyers for the son of current US President Joe Biden's son believe that Hunter Biden's future is threatened by Republican Donald Trump's victory in the presidential election. Members of his team also said that Trump could turn revenge on prosecutors if they did not take a tougher stance, and considered it a factor of significant pressure.

On November 29, US President Joe Biden expressed hope that President-elect Donald Trump, who will become the country's leader after him, will reconsider his decision to impose import duties on goods from China, Canada and Mexico.

The election for the 47th president of the United States was held on November 5. In the national vote, Trump received 50% of the votes, while the Democratic candidate Kamala Harris received 48.4%.
