- Private Mikhailov delivered ammunition to Russian Armed Forces positions under FPV drone attacks

Private Timur Mikhailov delivered ammunition to Russian troops' positions despite the risk of FPV drone attack. On Monday, December 2, the Russian Defense Ministry described new exploits of Russian army servicemen in the Special Military Operation (SMO) zone.
Mikhailov was assigned the task of delivering necessary ammunition to units of the Russian Armed Forces (AF) located on the border of the combat clash. The private was traveling by car to his destination when his transport was attacked by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Mikhailov performed a number of maneuvers, as a result he managed to break away from the FPV drones and deliver ammunition to Russian fighters.
The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the courageous and professional actions of Sergei Kalashnikov, a private of the BARS-16 unit, who was on duty while conducting surveillance of the terrain from a drone.
In a nearby forest area, he detected a group of Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) soldiers with small arms and a grenade launcher who were moving toward the Russian positions. Kalashnikov promptly transmitted the coordinates of the enemy to his command, and the group was hit with a mortar attack. The private continued to observe from the drone and noticed that some of the personnel of the enemy group escaped from the mortar strike. Then he passed the information to the headquarters and the fire was corrected. As a result, the attempt of the AFU group to get close to the Russian positions was stopped.
Earlier, on December 1, the Russian Defense Ministry said that Lieutenant Alidar Bukhbalin as part of an assault unit performed a combat mission to take control of positions held by the AFU in an important direction of the Russian troops' offensive. In addition, Bukhbalin provided first aid to one of the Russian soldiers wounded during the battle and then ensured his evacuation to safety.
Prior to that, on November 30, Senior Warrant Officer Maxim Zhevlakov provided first aid to the wounded despite continuous artillery shelling and kamikaze drone attacks.
Before that, on November 27, it was reported that Guards Private Alexei Mukhin destroyed an AFU machine gun point and provided first aid to the wounded as a result of artillery fire from the enemy, and then ensured their transfer to a safe area for further treatment.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
