Houthis reported attacking a destroyer and three U.S. vessels

Yemeni Houthis from the rebel Ansar Allah movement attacked a destroyer and three U.S. supply ships in the Arabian Sea with the help of drones and 16 missiles. This was reported on December 1 by Yahya Saria, a military spokesman for the Houthis.
He said the rebel movement's naval, drone and missile forces carried out an operation in which they struck a destroyer and three US army supply ships.
"The operation was carried out in support of the Palestinian people and their resistance, in response to Israel's crimes against our brothers in Gaza and in retaliation for the American-British aggression against our country," the Houthi-controlled Al Masirah TV channel reported.
Saria said the Houthis shelled the tanker Stena Impeccable, the container ship Maersk Saratoga and the dry cargo ship Liberty Grace.
Earlier in the day, Yemeni Houthis from the rebel Ansar Allah movement launched a missile attack on the Jaffa neighborhood of Tel Aviv using a hypersonic missile. Saria said the Houthis intend to "redouble military operations using rockets and drones" amid Israel 's ongoing crimes in the Gaza Strip.
Prior to that, on Nov. 22, Saria said that Yemen's Houthis struck a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile at Israel's Nevatim airbase in the Negev region. It successfully reached its target. He added that such operations will not stop until Israel's "aggression in Gaza and Lebanon stops."
Earlier, on Nov. 17, Saria noted that the Houthis carried out drone strikes on a target in the city of Eilat in southern Israel. However, he did not specify when exactly the attack was carried out.
The Houthis began striking ships in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden since November last year to protest Israeli actions in the Gaza Strip. On the night of Jan. 12, in response to their actions, the U.S. and Britain launched an attack on Houthi targets in Yemen. The White House said the strikes on movement-controlled areas of the country were defensive in nature. It was also claimed at the time that the strikes were carried out to protect international vessels.
