The 330 kV high-voltage power supply line Ferrosplavnaya-1 has started operating again at the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant (NPP). This was reported by the press service of the plant on December 1.

"At the moment the power supply of Zaporozhskaya NPP is provided by the line 750 kV "Dneprovskaya" and the line 330 kV "Ferrosplavnaya-1", - stated in the Telegram-channel of the facility.

It is noted that the radiation background at the station and the adjacent territory corresponds to normal indicators, not exceeding natural background natural values.

The day before it was reported that the high-voltage power supply line "Ferrosplavnaya-1" at Zaporizhzhya NPP is disconnected by the action of protection. Own needs of the NPP are powered from the line 750 kV "Dniprovska".

Earlier, on November 27, Energodar, a satellite town of Zaporizhzhya ZNPP, was left without power supply due to an emergency shutdown of power lines. On the same day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) carried out six drone attacks and two artillery strikes on the territory of Energodar and the plant.

Zaporizhzhya region, where the nuclear power plant is located, became part of the Russian Federation following a referendum in September 2022. Since that time, Zaporizhzhya NPP has been under constant IAEA control.
