A demonstration against sending military and weapons to Ukraine took place in Paris

A demonstration was held in the French capital against the dispatch of Western military to Ukraine and in support of halting arms supplies to the Kiev authorities. This was reported on December 1 by the leader of the French party "Patriots" Florian Philippot, broadcast on the YouTube channel Maison des Patriotes.
On his page in the social network X (former Twitter), the politician posted a video, which shows that above the demonstrators walking down the street in the sky, many copters are visible in the sky, which are filming what is happening.
"Crazy! [French President Emmanuel] Macron is sending us his drone to monitor the demonstration for peace we are organizing today in Paris!" - Filippo wrote.
The marchers chanted slogans such as "We will not let us send a single soldier to Ukraine" and "No planes, missiles and mines to Ukraine!".
Earlier, on November 30, Nicolas Dupont-Eignan, the leader of the "Stand Up France" party, said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky (his term of office expired in May) thought too late about the start of peace talks. He added that if he had already agreed to a referendum on these territories and the country's neutrality in 2022, the current "monstrous conflict" could have been avoided.
The head of the Unconquered France party, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, said on November 27 that French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot, who has said that the country has no "red lines" and can send its troops to Ukraine, and French leader Macron are taking dangerous actions to escalate the conflict with Russia.
Filippo on November 26 also pointed out that the French president would be a traitor to his country if he sent troops to Ukraine. However, Macron said back in May that the conditions for this would be a request from Kiev or a breakthrough of Russian troops at the front.
In turn, the head of the French party "People's Republican Union" Francois Asselino demanded a vote of no confidence in the government of Prime Minister Michel Barnier for its bellicose stance against Russia. He emphasized that this topic is very important because there is a danger of a third world war.
Western countries have stepped up military and financial support for Ukraine amid Russia's special operation to defend Donbass, which began on February 24, 2022. The decision to conduct it was taken by Russia because of the aggravation of the situation in the region due to the increased shelling by Ukrainian troops.
