A weather forecaster has given a forecast about the weather in Russia in winter

Winter will be warmer than normal throughout Russia. For example, in the Urals and Western Siberia the temperature will be 3-6 degrees higher. This was warned on December 1 by the leading expert of the weather center "Phobos" Evgeny Tishkovets.

In Central Russia, the temperature will be 2-3 degrees above the norm.

"Abnormal deviations in the amount of precipitation are not predicted, but nevertheless the snow cover in the second half of winter, for example, in the capital region will sometimes reach 30-50 cm, and in some places up to half a meter-meter, but due to frequent thaws they will be constantly "deflated", - warned the forecaster in Telegram-channel.

Frosty weather will come to the Moscow region only in January and will be short-lived.

"The strongest and most extensive frosts in Russia are expected in late January - early February, when 2/3 of the country's territory, especially in Siberia and the Far East, will be at the mercy of bitter cold," Tishkovets added.
