Borissov stated about the existing capabilities to provide the Russian Armed Forces with "Oreshnik"

Russia has all the capabilities to provide the Russian Defense Ministry with medium-range ballistic missiles (MRBMs) Oreshnik. This statement was made on December 1 by Yury Borisov, director general of Roscosmos state corporation.

"As for Oreshnik, we have all the necessary capabilities to provide the Defense Ministry, let's say, in the required quantity," he said in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin, a fragment of which was published in his Telegram channel.

Borisov also noted that Russia has multiplied the production of high-precision systems in more than two years, Gazeta.ru reports.

Earlier, on November 28, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the "Oreshnik" has 10 separating blocks that attack the target and everything in the epicenter of the explosion turns into dust. He also noted that there are no analogs of this MRBM, and they will appear, in his opinion, not soon.

On November 21, the Russian president said that Ukraine had used Western long-range weapons against the Russian state, which made the regional conflict acquire elements of a global one. He also said that one of Russia's newest medium-range missile systems, the Oreshnik ballistic missile, had been tested under combat conditions.

Before that, on November 19, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the S-400 SAM and Pantsir SAM systems in the Bryansk region shot down five ATACMS missiles fired by Ukrainian militants and damaged another one. The wreckage of the latter fell on the territory of a military facility, without casualties or damage.
