"Donbass Dome" repelled 120 attacks by AFU drones over the past week

The Donbass Dome airspace defense and electronic warfare system detected and intercepted 120 drones of Ukrainian militants over Donetsk and Makeyevka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) over the past week. This was reported by Arina Klepanova, the official representative of the Russian FSSB in the republic, on December 2.
In Kuibyshevskyi district of Donetsk there was a night attack by a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on an electric substation. The attacking UAV carried an improvised explosive device based on a shaped-charge ammunition.
In Kirovsky district, the REB system suppressed an enemy drone that was conducting reconnaissance near civilian infrastructure.
The official representative of the FSSB in the region said that explosion technicians with the help of special technical means disconnected the drone's controls and destroyed the explosive object with a superimposed charge on the spot.
"There were no casualties among civilians and damage to infrastructure," the agency said.
A week earlier, on November 25, Oksana Semesenko, the official representative of the Russian FSSB in the DNR, said that the Donbass Dome had prevented 189 attacks by AFU drones in the Donetsk People's Republic.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
