Russian Armed Forces destroy Ukrainian militants' ammunition depot in the DNR with a VOG-30D drop

Servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed a Ukrainian army ammunition depot near the Druzhba settlement of the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR). Images of the combat operation were published by the Russian Defense Ministry on December 1.

The depot belonged to a unit of the 28th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The target was destroyed by the Russian army by dropping a VOG-30D munition from a drone.

The day before, it was reported that tankers of the Southern Group of Russian troops hit an AFU drone control point near the Chasov Yar settlement in the DNR. The drone operators, who provided the coordinates, were in charge of eliminating the targets and adjusting the fire.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
