SSJ aircraft emergency landing at Mineralnye Vody airport


A Sukhoi Superjet of Azimut Airlines, traveling from the city to Sochi, made an emergency landing at Mineralnye Vody airport. This was reported on Sunday, December 1, by a source of Izvestia.
According to his information, the incident occurred around 9:25 Moscow time due to technical reasons. Preliminary, there were 105 people on board, including nine children. There were no fatalities or casualties.
Information about the abnormal landing "Izvestia" also confirmed in the press service of the air carrier. According to Azimut representatives, flight A46189 Mineralnye Vody - Sochi departed at 8:35 Moscow time and returned back to the airport for technical reasons.
It is specified that the landing at Mineralnye Vody airport was performed safely at 9:19 Moscow time. Passengers will be delivered to Sochi by a reserve flight.
Earlier, on November 24, a plane of Azimut Airlines caught fire while landing at Antalya airport. The Interstate Aviation Committee said that Turkey will investigate the incident. The Russian Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case, and Rostransnadzor will conduct an inspection of the airline in connection with the incident. The carrier will pay compensation of 100 thousand rubles to passengers to compensate for losses.
