Putin approved the Russian federal budget for 2025-2027

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law on Russia's federal budget for 2025 and the planning period of 2026-2027. The document was published on the portal of official publication of legal acts on November 30.

Budget revenues in 2025 will amount to Br40.296 trillion, expenditures - Br41.469 trillion. In the future, revenues are also expected to grow to Br41.841 trillion in 2026 and to Br43.154 trillion in 2027.

Expenditures are expected to reach Br41.469 trillion next year, Br44.022 trillion in 2026 and Br45.915 trillion in 2027, respectively.

At the same time, the upper limit of the state debt may reach Br29.39 trillion by January 1, 2026.

Federation Council at a meeting on November 27 approved the law on Russia's federal budget for 2025-2027. This initiative was supported by 160 senators.

November 26, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov indicated that the Ministry of Finance plans to pursue a balanced and balanced budget policy in the next three years.

Prior to that, November 19, Putin said that the federal budget deficit in the next three years may be less than planned. The authorities intend to achieve this by increasing the treasury revenues.
