Vyacheslav Portyannikov, accused of supplying substandard body armor to the Russian Armed Forces (AF), has signed a pre-trial cooperation agreement. This is stated in court documents.
"Concluded on October 31, 2024 a pre-trial agreement on cooperation," reads the report, which is cited by RIA Novosti on December 1 .
It is specified that the accused gave detailed confessions and actively assists the investigation.
Portyannikov is charged under Part 4 of Article 291.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Mediation in bribery committed on a particularly large scale"). Court documents show that he is the director of organizational direction of ConceptAviaprom LLC.
On April 6, the Basmanny Court of Moscow arrested Andrei Yesipov, general director of Piket Group of Companies LLC, who was accused of supplying low-quality body armor to the Russian army. A criminal case was opened under part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Fraud on a large scale").
