Governor reports child killed in UAV attack on Bryansk region

A child was killed as a result of a Ukrainian drone attack in Starodubskyy municipal district. This was reported by the Governor of the Bryansk region Alexander Bogomaz on December 1.

"As a result of a targeted drone attack on civilians in Starodubsky municipal district, unfortunately, a child was killed," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

In addition, Bogomaz informed that as a result of the attack, a residential house was completely destroyed in the municipal district.

The governor noted that operational and emergency services are working on the site. Information about the consequences is being clarified.

Shortly before that, Governor Alexander Bogomaz said that air defense forces had detected and destroyed 10 unmanned aerial vehicles of airplane type over the Bryansk region.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the backdrop of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
