In France, a huge metal bird fell on a crowd and injured 13 people

At the seaside resort of Trouville in Calvados, a large metal structure supporting a float in the shape of an airborne bird collapsed during a parade marking the start of Christmas, injuring 13 people. This was reported by the newspaper Ouest-France on November 30.

According to eyewitnesses, the car carrying the flying bird went out of balance on a bend, causing the metal structure to fall on people.

Emergency services arrived on the spot to help the injured.

Earlier in the day about 9 thousand people were forced to leave their homes in the German city of Hannover because of the discovery of an unexploded 250-kilogram bomb made by the United States during World War II. People were evacuated at about 8:00 local time (10:00 Moscow time). It is specified that the shell was found on the construction site of the Hannover Higher Medical School.
