Bukhbalin's group cleared an AFU stronghold in the SVO zone

Corporal Alidar Bukhbalin as part of an assault unit carried out a combat mission to take control of positions held by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in an important direction of Russian troops' offensive. On Sunday, December 1, the Russian Defense Ministry described new feats of Russian army servicemen in the zone of the special military operation (SMO).
The enemy launched artillery strikes on the assault group and attacked with FPV drones. Bukhbalin, together with his group, outflanked the stronghold and broke in. The effect of surprise allowed them to quickly gain the upper hand over the enemy, Bukhbalin eliminated an enemy machine gun point. After clearing the stronghold, a new line of defense was built, and Bukhbalin's group held off attempts by the Ukrainian side to regain control of the stronghold until reinforcements arrived.
In addition, Bukhbalin provided first aid to one of the Russian soldiers wounded during the battle and then ensured his evacuation to safety.
The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the determination and efficiency of Sergeant Alexei Aristarkhov, who monitored the air situation in the area where the Russian troops were located. He timely detected a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) approaching the positions of the Russian Armed Forces, transmitted the information and coordinates to the leadership, and then took aim and shot down the drone with a regular weapon. The drone crashed away from the Russian troops and exploded.
Earlier, on November 30, Senior Warrant Officer Maxim Zhevlakov rendered first aid to the wounded despite incessant artillery shelling and kamikaze drone attacks.
Before that, on November 27, it was reported that Guards Private Alexei Mukhin destroyed an AFU machine gun point and provided first aid to the wounded as a result of artillery fire from the enemy, and then ensured their transfer to a safe area for further treatment.
