A resident of the town of Selidovo in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) liberated by Russian troops has been seriously wounded as a result of an artillery strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported by the head of the DNR Denis Pushilin on November 30.

"As a result of the use of barrel artillery by the enemy, a woman born in 1960 was seriously wounded, she is receiving qualified medical care," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to Pushilin, Ukrainian formations launched two armed attacks, firing about five munitions. The enemy used barrel artillery of 155 mm caliber, including cluster-type shells.

Earlier, on November 27, two civilians of the town of Dzerzhynsk in the DNR were wounded as a result of the AFU attack. According to Gorlovka mayor Ivan Prikhodko, around the same time Ukrainian militants shelled the Komsomolets residential area. In addition, during the day the settlement of Ozyoryanivka came under artillery fire, and in the morning another civilian was wounded in Dzerzhynsk.

The AFU has been shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, as well as the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis against the backdrop of the special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russia on February 24, 2022.
