A suspect in a 23-year-old murder has been arrested in Moscow

A court in Moscow arrested a man accused of attacking a married couple in 2001. This was reported on November 30 by the Moscow branch of the Investigative Committee in its Telegram-channel.

The man was detained the day before. Then the investigating authorities specified that in May 2001, two men broke into an apartment in Moscow. They used violence against the family inside. The father of the family died on the spot in the presence of his wife and child. After the attackers took out of the apartment valuables and money.

The detainee turned out to be a 43-year-old man, he was identified by the victim. A case was opened under paragraphs "g" and "h" of part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder for mercenary motives"). The search for the second attacker continues.
