An army aviation crew on a Ka-52M helicopter has destroyed a stronghold of Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) units and manpower in a border area of Kursk Region. Images of the combat operation are published by the Russian Defense Ministry on November 30.

The missiles were launched at the coordinates of the aviation gunner during a combat mission to support units of the North group. The forward aviation spotter subsequently confirmed the elimination of the target.

After the strike, the crew performed an anti-missile maneuver at extremely low altitude and released heat traps that prevent the Ukrainian army's man-portable surface-to-air missile system (MANPADS) missiles from hitting the target.

Earlier in the day, the crew of a Su-34 multirole supersonic supersonic fighter-bomber of the Russian Air and Space Forces (VKS) struck AFU personnel, armored vehicles and automotive military equipment. The strike was carried out by aviation bombs with a universal planning and correction module (UMPK).

The Ukrainian military attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk Region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a federal emergency. The operation to destroy the militants continues.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
