In Lugansk, the city's main library has been saved from fire, where it was possible to prevent the spread of fire due to short-circuited wiring. This is reported on November 30 by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
"A short circuit of wiring almost destroyed the book fund of the library named after M. Gorky. M. Gorky," - noted in the Telegram-channel of the Department.
Extinguish the fire was able to quickly. Three people were evacuated from the building. At the site worked 18 firefighters and six units of equipment.
Before that, on September 15, a fire in the village of Lesnoy in the Anthracite district of the Lugansk People's Republic (LNR) destroyed almost the entire settlement, only one building out of 30 houses survived. Local residents told Izvestia about the consequences of the disaster, noting that only pipes from brick stoves were left sticking out in place of the former houses. Their pet dogs were also burned alive.
