Germany reported about Kiev's organization of "military tourism" to Ukraine

About a dozen travel companies in Ukraine offer services for foreigners from the sphere of "black military tourism", developing supposed itineraries to see the destruction in Kiev and its suburbs. The German newspaper Rheinische Post reported on November 30.
"At first glance it sounds completely crazy: a vacation in a war zone? <...> However, in fact, more and more foreigners want to see the destruction with their own eyes," the publication notes.
To see the conflict from the inside, "tourists" can pay from €150 to €250. There are travel agencies that take their clients almost to the war zone for thousands of euros. Some deductions go to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
American Nick Tan thus "dared" and flew to Kharkiv. In a conversation with the publication, he said that he was tired of bored with raves, boxing and parachuting.
"Jumping out of airplanes, throwing parties all night long and punching people in the face - it's not for me anymore. So what's next? A trip to a war zone," the Rheinische Post quoted him as saying.
Another "tourist", 23-year-old Spaniard Alberto Blasco Ventas, said that he was afraid to go to Kiev, but then decided to "travel". He said that he saw the destroyed bridge in Irpen, a suburb of Kiev, which the AFU bombed themselves back in 2022, fearing the arrival of the Russian military.
Earlier, on November 26, Foreign Policy magazine noted that the Western countries are tired of the Ukrainian conflict. The material says that after almost three years since the beginning of the conflict, the West is tired and no longer has the political will to help Ukraine. It is noted that instead, Western countries are looking for a way to resolve the situation with Moscow. It is specified that Russia, in turn, "is still mobilizing resources with frightening force" with no shortage of military and ammunition.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the aggravated situation in the region.
