Pushilin calls the condition of mines in the DNR territories liberated from the AFU deplorable

The mines in the liberated territories in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) are in a deplorable state. This statement was made by the head of the region Denis Pushilin on November 30.

"The mines in the liberated territories are in deplorable condition. Experts will give an assessment a little later, but the situation is extremely difficult," he told TASS at the congress of the Donetsk regional public organization Young Republic.

The poor condition concerns not only the mines in Ugledar, but also others, Gazeta.Ru specifies.

During a trip to Ugledar on November 13, the head of the DNR said that the city has very serious destruction, an entire building is almost impossible to find. According to him, at the moment the Russian military are providing all the necessary assistance to the civilian population, of which there are few left in the city.

The Russian military liberated Ugledar in early October.

The special operation to protect Donbass, which Russian leader Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, is still ongoing. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
