In Moscow, a man kidnapped two teenagers and extorted money from them

The Investigative Committee (IC) in Moscow opened a criminal case against a man accused of kidnapping two minors and extorting money from them. This was reported on Saturday, November 30, by the press service of the capital department.

The man is accused in accordance with paras. "v", "g", "d", "d", "g", "h" part 2 of article 126 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Kidnapping") and part 1 of article 163 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Extortion").

According to the investigation, the accused, no later than November 25, 2024 in a Moscow shopping center, threatening with a gun, demanded from two teenage acquaintances 120 thousand rubles. Under threat of life, he forced them to get into his car. The man drove them to a place near the sports stadium and, firing a shot in the air, demanded to give him the requested amount by December 5 of this year.

The defendant was detained. His apartment was searched and knives and pistols were seized.

"In the near future, the investigation intends to petition the Kuntsevsky district court of Moscow to elect a measure of restraint in the form of detention for the accused", - stated in the message of the Department in the Telegram-channel.

Earlier, on November 18, three people forcibly put a minor in the car and demanded 30 thousand rubles, which he allegedly owed them. A criminal case was initiated against them.
