Rosaviatsia reported on possible adjustment of flights between Cuba and Russia

The program of flights of Russian airlines between Russia and Cuba may be adjusted in connection with two notices (NOTAM) sent by the Cuban aviation authorities. This was announced by Rosaviatsia spokesman Artem Korenyako on November 30.
"The notices say that there is a shortage of jet fuel for all carriers without exception at Havana and Varadero airports during the week - from 08:01 Moscow time on December 1 to 08:00 Moscow time on December 8," Korenyako wrote in his Telegram channel.
Currently, flights from Moscow to these airports of Cuba are carried out by airplanes of airlines "Russia" (group "Aeroflot") and Nordwind ("North Wind").
It is noted that the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, Rosaviatsia and Russian carriers are holding consultations with Cuban representatives to minimize the impact of kerosene shortage on flights of Russian airlines.
In March, Cuban Tourism Minister Juan Carlos Garcia Granda, on a visit to the Russian Federation, said that representatives of Moscow and Havana were planning to coordinate the launch of a direct flight from St. Petersburg. He noted that at present the airplanes that fly from Russia to Cuba are 94% full. According to him, the three main destinations are Varadero, Cayo Coco and Havana.
