Russian Armed Forces defeated the AFU in 11 localities in Kursk region

Units of the "North" group of troops have defeated formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the areas of 11 settlements in Kursk Region. This was reported by the Defense Ministry on November 30.

The settlements include Alexandria, Viktorovka, Kurilovka, Lebedevka, Leonidovka, Martynovka, Nikolayevo-Daryino, Nikolsky, Novoivanovka, Plekhovo and Sverdlikovo.

The Russian Armed Forces (AFU) also hit enemy manpower and equipment in another 13 localities in Kursk region and five localities in Sumy region.

"Over the day, the AFU losses amounted to more than 250 servicemen. Two tanks, two infantry fighting vehicles, an armored fighting vehicle, as well as four vehicles and two mortars were destroyed," the department said in a statement.

For the entire time of fighting in the Kursk direction, the Ukrainian army lost more than 36.8 thousand military, 225 tanks, 123 armored personnel carriers (APCs), 305 artillery pieces, 1,060 vehicles and a large number of other equipment, including foreign-made.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that the crew of a Su-34 multirole supersonic fighter-bomber of the Russian Air and Space Forces (AFS) struck AFU personnel, armored and vehicle military equipment in the border area of Kursk Region.

The Ukrainian military attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk Region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a state of emergency of federal character. The operation to destroy the militants continues.
