For a month, the labeling system prevented the sale of over 900 thousand illegal dietary supplements, the press service of the CRPT (the operator of the state labeling system "Honest Sign") told Izvestia.

"To strengthen control, in November 2024, the so-called permissive mode of selling labeled products at the cash register was introduced. It was extended to new groups of goods, including dietary supplements. The first results: cash registers blocked 544 thousand packages of dietary supplements with signs of counterfeiting and about 358 thousand packages", - reported in the CRPT with reference to the head of the department of the system of digital labeling of goods and legalization of product turnover of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Vladislav Zaslavsky.

The topic of digital control was voiced at the VI International Conference "What is happening in the market of dietary supplements?".

As explained in the CRPT, the mechanism of step-by-step labeling of supplements has been implemented in Russia since April this year. Cash register blocking occurs when there is no data on the labeling of goods in the "Honest Mark" system, when it is prohibited for sale by supervisory authorities or it has expired.

Earlier, on November 28, it was reported that the number of purchases of dietary supplements (BAA) by Russians increased by 46% from January 1 to November 20, 2024. There were 33% more purchases and 18% more buyers.
