Sobyanin spoke about the digitalization of urban transport

The country's first digital urban transport stations have been operating in Moscow for three months already. This was told in his official Telegram channel by the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin.
New technologies have been implemented at the BKL station "Maryina Roshcha" and in terminal No. 1 of the Moscow city station Nizhegorodskaya.
"We plan that by 2030 up to 30% of all navigation in the subway will be digital and with improved functions," Sobyanin noted.
Digital signs provide information on routes and rules of behavior in the subway, and help plan trips. The touch-screen steles display the scheme of the station and its equipment, as well as a map of the district.
For three months of work of the digital rack "Live Communication" at the station "Maryina Roshcha" about 6 thousand appeals from passengers were received.
Thanks to the new turnstile design, the throughput capacity increased by more than 30%.
Ticket vending machines with a new design and intuitive menu have already attracted more than 1.2 thousand users.
Mini-projectors on escalators now inform about the weather and show useful announcements.
Passengers positively evaluated the innovations, especially noting the indication of car load and informative digital navigation. All technologies were developed with the participation of domestic companies.
