Boxer Papin promised to "get to Hardy's head" during the fight

Russian boxer Alexei Papin, ahead of the gala show "REN TV Fight Club. Super Series" said that he will "get to the head" of his opponent, MMA fighter from the United States Greg Hardy.

"Greg, keep your hands up! These little hands right here will get to your head," the athlete said.

The American mocked his opponent before the fight with the Russian boxer, claiming that the latter overestimates his strength and that his punches will not be able to defeat him.

Olympic champion Alexander Povetkin said ahead of the fight that Papin will "punish" Hardy. In this fight, he bets exactly on the Russian fighter.

A large-scale boxing tournament as part of the gala show "REN TV Fight Club. Superseries" will be held on December 13 in the sports complex "Megasport". The main event of the evening will be a duel between MMA fighter Vitaly Minakov and boxer Kevin Johnson. Alexei Papin and American fighter Greg Hardy will meet in a consensual fight. Also European champion, two-time Russian boxing champion Sergey Kuzmin and professional boxer Murad Khalidov will enter the ring.
