In the film park "Moskino" prepared a program for the 83rd anniversary of the Battle of Moscow

In December, the Moskino film park will host a large program of events, which will be dedicated to the Battle of Moscow. Visitors will be able to see reconstructions of historical events, take part in immersive performances and thematic master classes, said Deputy Mayor of the capital Natalia Sergunina.

"The Battle of Moscow is the largest battle of the Great Patriotic War. Soldiers, officers and residents themselves defended the city for seven months. Their cohesion turned the tide, it was the first step to Victory. Until the end of the year, visitors to the movie park will be able to see the reconstruction of the key events of that time. They will learn how Muscovites lived and worked in 1941", - said Natalia Sergunina.

In the film park "Moskino" in December will be held a large-scale program of events dedicated to the Battle of Moscow. Visitors will be able to see the historical production "Moscow speaks! Battle for Moscow. The First Victory", in which actors and military reenactors take part.

The audience will be immersed in history thanks to modern technologies, fragments of newsreels and films, stage solutions and realistic scenery. The production will use military equipment: tanks, cannons and airplanes from the Vadim Zadorozhny Museum of Technology and the studio "Voenfilm".

The production "Moscow Speaks: The Battle for Moscow. The first victory" tells about the Soviet counter-offensive near the capital, which began on December 5, 1941. The debut screening will take place in the movie park. Reconstructionists will not only recreate historical events, but also try to convey the atmosphere of heroism and unity of the Soviet people.

Musical pauses, lyrical and poetic episodes, choreography and special video content are woven into the script.

You can visit the production on December 7 and 8 from 14:00 to 15:00, as well as on all subsequent weekends until the end of the year. Tickets are sold at the door.

Also thematic program is prepared within the framework of the project "Winter in Moscow". The main events of the weekend - December 7 and 8 - will be reconstructions of significant episodes of the Red Army counter-offensive during the Battle of Moscow.

Visitors will be able to see a parade of the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army troops, a reconstruction of the battle for Krasnaya Polyana and a staged battle for the village of Bely Rast. From 10:00 to 18:00 there will be historical classes and interactives that will help to understand how Muscovites lived during the Great Patriotic War.

On the territory of the movie park there will be a post office, a police station and a store. Everyone will be able to get Red Army books, take courses for sappers, artillerymen and pilots, work as communications specialists, medics and air defense specialists.

The project "Winter in Moscow" will be the central event of the winter season, combining various activities from December 1 to February 28. During this period residents and guests of the city are invited to remember winter traditions, warm themselves with tea, skate, ski and tubing, as well as attend ice shows. In addition, the project offers an opportunity to show care for those who need support.
