The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) tried to attack objects in Kaspiysk with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This was reported by the head of the Republic of Dagestan Sergey Melikov on Saturday, November 30.

"Today, according to preliminary information, another unsuccessful attempt of a drone attack on objects in Kaspiysk was carried out," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Data on damage and casualties are not yet available.

It is specified that all necessary actions are being taken to ensure the safety of residents of the region.

Also at the airport of Makhachkala temporary restrictions were imposed on the reception and release of aircraft. During the period of restrictions, one airplane left for an alternate airfield, said the representative of "Rosaviatsia" in Telegram.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry said that over the past night, air defense means (air defense) eliminated 11 Ukrainian drones. It was noted that eight Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed in the sky over the Belgorod region, three more - over the waters of the Black Sea. The mayor of Sochi Andrey Proshunin said that as a result of the incident none of the city's residents were injured.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
