The Defense Ministry reported 11 eliminated drones over Russian regions

Over the past night, air defenses eliminated 11 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over Russian regions. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on November 30.

"During the past night, during the Kiev regime's attempt to carry out a terrorist attack with the use of unmanned aerial vehicles on objects on the territory of the Russian Federation, the on-duty air defense means destroyed and intercepted 11 Ukrainian UAVs of aircraft type," the ministry's Telegram channel noted.

The Defense Ministry said that eight Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed in the sky over the Belgorod region, and three more - over the Black Sea.

On the eve, Yury Slyusar, the acting governor of Rostov Region, said that more than 30 drones had been intercepted by air defense and electronic warfare (EW) over the region. It was specified that there were no casualties. Operational duty services worked at the site.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
