Tankers hit an AFU UAV control point near Chasov Yar

Tankers of the Southern Group of Forces have hit a control point for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) near the Chasov Yar settlement in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR). This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on November 30.
Control over the elimination of targets and the adjustment of tank crews' fire was carried out by the group's UAV operators. The tankers received coordinates and immediately opened fire on the target.
"The machine is very good, very faithful, so to speak, very reliable. We are aiming the fire. Thanks to our units that are connected with "birds" (UAVs. - Ed.), with FPV-drones. They help us, cover our sky, so to speak, protect us, shoot down enemy birds with rams," commented the gunner-operator with the call sign Ham.
Providing fire support, the crews of the group's T-72B3 tanks help the assault units to occupy more favorable lines and positions, as well as inflict fire damage on the Ukrainian troops' manpower and equipment, disrupting rotations and supplying ammunition to the AFU units.
"Our guys, they are motivated. It turns out, slowly, a little at a time, but we are pushing through the enemy units, throwing them farther and farther away," - said the commander of the tank platoon with the call sign Ataman.
Earlier, on November 24, the Russian Defense Ministry said that the Russian military struck military airfields, production workshops and drone depots in Ukraine. In addition, the Southern Group of Forces defeated AFU formations in the areas of the towns of Chasov Yar and Kurakhovo in the DNR.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
