Su-34 crew hit AFU personnel and military equipment in the Kursk Region

The crew of the Su-34 multirole supersonic fighter-bomber of the Russian Air and Space Forces (VKS) has hit personnel, armored and vehicle military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the border area of the Kursk Region. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on November 30.

It is specified that the strike was carried out on reconnaissance targets with aviation bombs with a universal planning and correction module (UMPK).

After the crew received confirmation from intelligence about the elimination of military equipment and personnel of the AFU, it safely returned to the airfield of departure.

Earlier, on November 28, the crew of a Ka-52M helicopter as part of a mixed tactical group struck an AFU manpower and stronghold in a border area of Kursk Region with air missiles. A forward aviation gunner confirmed that the targets were successfully destroyed.

The Ukrainian military attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk Region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a federal emergency. The operation to destroy the militants continues.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
