Experts have announced an annual growth in hotel bookings during the winter season

The number of orders for early booking of tourist accommodation for the winter season 2024-2025 has increased by 20% compared to last year. This conclusion follows from the research published on November 30, conducted by the travel service "MTS Travel" and the platform Bronevik.com.

It is noted that the most sought-after accommodation was in three capitals: the official, Northern and resort capitals. In Moscow 19% of all winter reservations of tourist accommodation were made, in St. Petersburg - 10%, in Greater Sochi - 9%.

The average cost of accommodation has also increased, now it is 6.9 thousand rubles per night, in percentage terms the growth amounted to 12%. At the same time, the cost of tourist accommodation is growing slower than in January-November this year, when the dynamics amounted to about 20%.

It was cheapest to book accommodation in Tuapse, where the cost of housing in this period is an average of Br3 thousand. The experts also referred to the budget options of accommodation in Rybinsk, where the cost of booking amounted to about Br3.4 thousand per night. In addition, inexpensive accommodation was noted Rostov Veliky, where the average check amounted to about Br3.6 thousand per night.
