Hyacinth-B" calculations of the "West" group of forces hit the AFU Krab SAU

Calculations of 152-millimeter towed guns "Hyacinth-B" of the group of troops "West" while carrying out firing tasks have hit a self-propelled artillery unit (SAU) Krab, artillery guns and strongholds with live forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the zone of the special military operation. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on November 30.

It is specified that the location of the enemy's artillery installation was identified with the help of electronic reconnaissance devices. After that, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) flew out for additional reconnaissance, having detected the position from which the fire was directed towards the Russian units.

With the help of aerial correction by reconnaissance drones, the artillerymen successfully eliminated the AFU militants' combat equipment. After that, the reconnaissance drones recorded the subsequent detonation of the ammunition.

The calculations hit the targets in a few shots, after which they quickly roll up the guns, preventing the enemy from detecting the firing positions.

"The gun, in general, it both at close ranges and at long ranges works effectively. The accuracy is quite good, that is, from 8 km to 30 km works in any weather," commented the commander of the gun with the call sign Doc.

Earlier, on November 25, servicemen of the Uragan multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) of the "Center" group of troops during the performance of combat tasks in the Krasnoarmeysk direction hit the area of concentration of AFU manpower and equipment. It is specified that the use of the Uragan MLRS makes it possible to eliminate ammunition storage bases and equipment staging areas and to cut off the militants' reserve units from the main forces.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made in connection with the aggravation of the situation in the region.
