In St. Petersburg, a man who threatened with a grenade check fake was detained

A man was detained in a restaurant in St. Petersburg who threatened visitors with a grenade check, which turned out to be a fake. This was reported by the interlocutor of "Izvestia" on November 30.
The incident occurred the night before in the BeerHouse. An inebriated man for two days appeared in the restaurant: he behaved defiantly, tried to conflict with the staff.
On November 29, the man again came to the establishment and told the restaurant staff that he had previously been convicted of murder and that he was terminally ill, after which he showed the staff an object that looked like a grenade pin.
"On the second day, he showed the grenade check and said he had a previous conviction. The waiters called the police to the scene. Then it turned out that it was not a check, but a moulage, but the man was still detained," - said the interlocutor.
Earlier, November 22, the official representative of the Russian Interior Ministry Irina Volk said that the man who threatened to detonate a live grenade was neutralized in a cafe in St. Petersburg. Criminal cases under article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Hooliganism") and article 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal trafficking of weapons and ammunition") have been initiated against the detainee
