- Kazakhstan has put the owner of one of the two Buran space shuttles on the wanted list

Kazakh businessman Dauren Musa, the owner of one of the two Soviet space shuttles "Buran", is wanted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan. This is reported on the website of the portal of legal statistics and special records of the General Prosecutor's Office of Kazakhstan.
According to the data, Dauren Musa is wanted since November 26. The case is being investigated by the police of Almaty.
As informed by the agency Kazinform, the businessman is wanted under the article on fraud.
Earlier, on September 6, there was information that NPO "Molniya" intends to transport "Buran" from Baikonur cosmodrome to Russia. However, Scientific and Production Association "Molniya" denied the information that it is preparing to transport the spacecraft "Buran" from Kazakhstan to Russia.
At the same time, on September 9, General Director of Kazakhstan's private JSC "RSC Baikonur" Dauren Musa, which owns the spacecraft, wrote on Facebook that he was surprised by Russia's plans to take out "Buran" and intends to defend its right in international instances.
The same day, the head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, responded to the businessman. He wrote that "RSC Baikonur" is responsible for the condition of the machines, and the further stay of "Buran" in the existing conditions threatens to lose the matrix.
Rogozin noted that Russia has no plans to remove the ship without the permission of the country's authorities, but the ongoing assessment of the condition of the ship and the rocket was disappointing.
"Buran" is the first reusable orbital spacecraft, which was created in the USSR. Its development lasted more than 10 years. On November 15, 1988, the ship made its first and last orbital flight. It was destroyed after the roof collapsed in the assembly and test building at Baikonur in 2002. The second and last of the completed spacecraft, along with a mockup of the ship, is also located at Baikonur. It is the one that is the subject of the litigation.
The third, unfinished model is housed in Zhukovsky near Moscow, and the test model with airplane engines is in Germany. Another Buran mockup was stored for a long time on an open site at Baikonur, and then was moved to the RSC Energia museum at the cosmodrome. The last mockup is located at VDNKh in Moscow.
