Iran's foreign minister called terrorist activism in Syria part of the US plan


Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi called the activation of terrorists in Syria part of the US plan against the backdrop of Israel's defeat in Lebanon. This was reported by ISNA news agency on November 29.
It is specified that Araqchi held a telephone conversation with Syrian Foreign Minister Bassam Sabbagh to discuss the latest developments in Syria and the region.
"Araqchi described the resurgence of terrorist groups in Syria as a US-Israeli plan after the Zionist regime's defeat of resistance in Lebanon and Palestine," the agency informed.
The Iranian foreign minister also emphasized that Iran's support for the Syrian government, people and army in fighting terrorism and protecting regional security and stability remains unchanged.
Earlier in the day, the Syrian Army eliminated hundreds of terrorists in Aleppo and Idlib. It is reported that the Syrian army continues its offensive against all the points where the militants have entrenched themselves. In addition, the army managed to dislodge radical Islamists from part of the positions, and the combat work of the Syrian soldiers continues.
On the eve of November 28, the Syrian ministry reported that terrorist groups launched a major attack in Aleppo and Idlib, and the Syrian Army began to repel it, causing serious damage to the equipment and manpower of militants.
At the same time, the deputy head of the Center for the Reconciliation of Enemy Parties (CRAP) in the U.S.S.R., Captain First Rank Oleg Ignasyuk, said that the Syrian military, with the support of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS), had killed at least 400 radical Islamists.
The Lebanese TV channel Al Mayadeen reported on the same day that the Syrian army launched a counter-offensive against the positions of terrorists and recaptured the town of al-Bakum from them. According to the TV channel, the militants captured more than 20 settlements to the north and west of the city of Aleppo during their attack.
