The Russian government has allocated more than 620 million rubles for medicines for beneficiaries of Kursk region. This was reported by the Governor of the region Alexei Smirnov on November 29.
"The Russian government has allocated more than 620 million rubles to the Kursk region for free medicines, medical devices and therapeutic nutrition for beneficiaries," he pointed out in his Telegram channel.
Smirnov thanked the Cabinet of Ministers and personally its head Mikhail Mishustin for attention to the region and care for its residents.
Earlier in the day, Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said that payments of compensation for rent to the affected residents of the Kursk region had begun. The Deputy Prime Minister added that payments of compensation for rent have also started. For these purposes, the federal budget has allocated more than 1 billion rubles.
Before that, November 15, Mishustin said that the Cabinet would allocate Br4 billion to support the residents of Kursk region, who lost their property. He also added that over 1 billion rubles will be allocated to reimburse the expenses of those who have to rent housing.
Ukrainian militants attacked Russian positions in the border areas of the Kursk region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a state of emergency of federal character. The operation to destroy the enemy continues.
