The Syrian Armed Forces (AF) have destroyed hundreds of terrorists of the group "Jebhat al-Nusra" (terrorist organization banned in Russia) during battles in the countryside of Aleppo and Idlib provinces. This was reported by the Defense Ministry of the Syrian Arab Republic (SAR) on November 29.

"Our armed forces managed to inflict heavy losses on the attacking organizations, destroying and wounding hundreds of terrorists in their ranks. The Syrian Army destroyed dozens [of] armored vehicles and vehicles and managed to shoot down <...> 17 drones," the ministry said in a statement on its Facebook page (owned by Meta, recognized as an extremist organization and banned in Russia).

The ministry said that the Syrian army continues its offensive against all points where the militants have entrenched themselves. In addition, the army managed to dislodge radical Islamists from part of the positions, and the combat work of Syrian soldiers continues. The republic's Defense Ministry added that terrorists are trying to spread misinformation about the situation on the battlefield.

On the eve of November 28, the Syrian ministry said that terrorist groups launched a major attack in Aleppo and Idlib, and the Syrian army began to repel it, inflicting serious damage to the militants' equipment and manpower.

On the same day, the deputy head of the Center for the Reconciliation of Enemy Parties (CRAP) in the U.S.S.R., Captain First Rank Oleg Ignasyuk, said that the Syrian military, with the support of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS), had killed at least 400 radical Islamists.

The Lebanese TV channel Al Mayadeen reported on the same day that the Syrian army launched a counter-offensive against the positions of terrorists and recaptured the town of al-Bakum from them. According to the TV channel, the militants captured more than 20 settlements to the north and west of the city of Aleppo during their attack.
