Russians named the top 5 unpleasant situations at corporate parties

The majority of Russians are afraid that there will be ridiculous contests and drunken colleagues at a corporate party. In addition, almost a quarter of respondents said that they would not want to receive a declaration of love at a corporate party. Experts of insurance broker Mainsgroup surveyed more than 1.2 thousand respondents from all over the country, with the results of the survey on December 1 "Izvestia".

"In the top 5 unpleasant situations that can occur at corporate parties and scare respondents, included: ridiculous contests - 40.5%, drunken colleagues - 36.4%, long and boring official speeches - 33.7%, dancing on tables - 27.1%, unexpected declarations of love from colleagues - 24.6%", - specified analysts.

Also mentioned were damage to clothes or other property, 23.4% of respondents are afraid of this, unpalatable or low-quality food and drinks (12.3%), embarrassing situations that arose under the influence of alcohol (8.1%), the same clothes as colleagues (6.5%), harm to health, including in fights (6.5%), and loss of belongings or documents (5%).

Among other things, it is noted that men are more likely than women to attend corporate parties - 64% vs. 36%. Predominantly those who attend corporate parties (81.4%) are 26-50 year olds, the most economically active people. Experts reported that most of them have already managed to have a family, advance in their careers and make savings.
