Zelensky replaced the commander of the AFU ground forces

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, whose term of office expired in May, has dismissed the commander of the ground forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Oleksandr Pavlyuk, and appointed the commander of the Kharkiv group of forces, General Mykhaylo Drapatiy, to this post. This is reported on November 29 in Telegram-channel Zelensky.
In addition, Colonel Oleg Apostol was appointed deputy commander-in-chief of the AFU.
The Ukrainian President announced these personnel changes at a meeting of the rate of the commander-in-chief and noted that the AFU needs internal changes.
Earlier, on August 30, Zelensky signed a decree dismissing the commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, Mykola Oleshchuk.
Before that, on May 9, the Ukrainian president sent former AFU commander-in-chief Valeriy Zaluzhnyy to resign from military service for health reasons. On February 8, Zelenskyy replaced Zaluzhny as commander-in-chief with the commander of the ground forces Oleksandr Syrskyy. Later, on March 7, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry appointed Zaluzhny to the post of ambassador to the United Kingdom, and London agreed on April 23.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by the Russian president on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
