A 112-year-old Brazilian man has been recognized as the world's oldest man

Brazilian pensioner Joao Marinho Neto, who has reached the age of 112 years, has become the oldest man in the world. This is reported on November 28 by Guinness World Records.
Growing up in a family of farmers Brazilian from Apuiarese from an early age helped his father in the field. At the age of four, he was already actively involved in agricultural work, including the care of livestock and harvesting.
With his first wife, the man had four children. Later, with another partner, he fathered three more children, bringing his family to six living children, 22 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
João cited being surrounded by good people and loved ones as the secret to his longevity. According to him, despite difficult periods in his life, including severe droughts, he has managed to build a financially stable life and accumulate a fortune.
The previous record holder, John Alfred Tinniswood of the United Kingdom, died in his 113th year. Tinniswood gained the Guinness World Records title in April this year after the death of its previous holder, Juan Vicente Perez Mora, who died at the age of 114.
