A British analyst backed Putin's statements on Western weapons

Russian President Vladimir Putin 's statements about foreign weapons and bases for their production cannot be false. British analyst Alexander Mercouris told about it in his YouTube blog on November 29.
Putin said on Nov. 28 that the new U.S. missiles are inferior to Russian missiles in terms of their characteristics. He noted that the mass of the warhead in TNT equivalent of the mentioned systems is approximately the same, but the Russian Iskander has a longer range.
"If Putin says this and the Kremlin publishes it, it means that the Russians definitely have this information," Mercouris said.
In addition, the British analyst believes Russia's new Oreshnik ballistic missile is destructive and effective.
On November 28, Putin also said that there are no analogs of the Oreshnik in the world and, in his opinion, they will appear not soon. He noted that the missile strikes highly defensible and objects located at great depth. Putin also pointed out that in the case of a massive group application of these missiles in a single strike, the power will be comparable to the use of nuclear weapons.
Before that, on November 22, Mercouris said that the test of Russia's new Zirkon missile along with the Kinzhal was very bad news for Ukraine's Armed Forces.
The special operation to defend Donbass, which was announced by the Russian president on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
