Putin approves two new members of the Public Chamber


Russian President Vladimir Putin has included Elena Malysheva, head of the National Center for Historical Memory, and Sergei Smetanyuk, deputy general director of Mostostroy-11 JSC, into the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.
"I decree to approve members of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation: E.P. Malysheva - head of the autonomous non-profit organization "National Historical Memory under the President of the Russian Federation", - stated in the decree, published on November 29 on the site of legal acts.
In addition, Sergei Smetanyuk became a member of the OP of the Russian Federation. In the period from 2005 to 2007, he headed the administration of Tyumen and took part in the work of the scientific and editorial board of the "Big Tyumen Encyclopedia".
Earlier, on November 7, former head of the Komi Republic Vladimir Uiba was appointed first deputy chief of the main military-medical department of the Russian Defense Ministry. The decree on the appointment of Uiba was signed by Putin. The Russian Defense Ministry did not confirm this information.
