The volume of taxable income of Russians has reached almost 45 trillion rubles


The volume of taxable income of the Russian population in January-October 2024 increased by 26.3% compared to the same period last year. The indicator amounted to 44.9 trillion rubles. This follows from the data of the analytical portal of the Federal Tax Service, which were reviewed by "Izvestia" on November 29.
The steady increase in the level of income of citizens indicates the growth of wages, dividends paid, as well as the growth of business activity of the population, noted in the explanation of the Federal Tax Service.
The indicator is calculated on the basis of data on the receipt of personal income tax withheld by the tax agent.
Earlier, November 27, Rosstat reported on the growth of wages of Russians in September in real terms by 8.4%.
Before that, on November 18, in 70% of surveyed companies said that in 2024 wages increased. According to experts, most often - in 45% of cases - their increase was due to an increase in salary or salary and bonus at once (41%), 13% of employers limited themselves to an increase in bonuses. In 51% of cases, income growth amounted to 5-10%, in 37% - 10-20%, in 9% - 21% and more. At the same time, 58% of employers plan to increase salaries in 2025.
