A section for helping each other may appear on "Gosuslugi"

A new section may appear on the portal "Gosuservices" to help citizens to help each other. This was announced by the Minister of Digital Development of the Russian Federation Maksut Shadaev at the conference "Technologies of Kindness" on November 29.

"I encourage everyone to discuss this. It is obvious that the potential of such a platform is very big," the Minister noted.

Shadaev clarified that the Ministry of Digitization is only considering the possibility of implementing this section. According to him, the advantage of the function is the reliable identification of the person and the possibility to use the infrastructure in order to organize help, such as fundraising or volunteering.

A package of draft laws has been prepared with the Central Bank and law enforcers

Earlier, on November 26, on the instructions of the government, the Russian Ministry of Digitals, together with law enforcement agencies and the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, developed a package of bills aimed at protecting Russians from fraudulent schemes using information technology. About 30 measures are envisaged. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Government Staff Dmitry Grigorenko.
