- Russian Foreign Ministry says Russia is committed to a set of agreements with Armenia

Russia remains committed to the entire set of agreements with Armenia and does not abandon its obligations to its allies in the military-political sphere. This was stated by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin at the second Russia-Armenia public forum on Friday, November 29.
"Moscow was and remains committed to the entire set of agreements both at the bilateral level and within the framework of the association in the Eurasian space. We are not abandoning our commitments to our allies, including in the military-political sphere," he said.
The diplomat recalled that Russia together with Armenia have been building security in the South Caucasus for years. He added that Moscow continues to remain ready for a dialog with Yerevan on the topic.
"We are ready for a frank and substantive conversation with Yerevan on this topical issue," Galuzin noted.
On the eve of November 28, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Armenia's current attitude toward the CSTO is dictated by internal political problems and the Nagorno-Karabakh issue. Armenia has not announced its withdrawal from the organization and supports all signed documents. Putin expressed hope for Yerevan's return to full-format work.
Earlier, on November 25, it was reported that Russia expects the long-term involvement of Armenian partners in joint efforts to develop a system of equal and indivisible security on the Eurasian continent.
Prior to that, on June 12, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, during the government hour in the parliament, accused the CSTO of threats faced by Yerevan and noted that the organization allegedly failed to fulfill its obligations to the Transcaucasian republic. The prime minister said that Armenia's leadership will decide when to withdraw from the CSTO.
Later the same day, the republic's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said that Pashinyan did not say that the country was leaving the CSTO, such an interpretation of his words is incorrect.
