AvtoVAZ announced the start of sales of the most expensive Lada model

Lada Aura cars will start arriving at dealerships from November 30. From the same day it will be possible to place an order for the business sedan in any Lada showroom. The model will be presented in two configurations, the first costs from 2.6 million rubles, the second - from 2.8 million rubles. This is stated in the message of AvtoVAZ, which was received by Izvestia on Friday.

Starting Saturday, the cars will go to the first five dealership centers in Moscow and the first five in St. Petersburg. From the beginning of December Aura cars will start to arrive in other regions of the Russian Federation, the first of which will be Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories, Volgograd, Chelyabinsk, Nizhny Novgorod Regions, Crimea and Tatarstan. Corporate sales and deliveries of cars to government agencies have already been underway since mid-November. AvtoVAZ shared that in December the plant will increase the production of Lada Aura - in the second half of December production will be up to 76 cars per day.

Lada Aura is built on the basis of Vesta and is distinguished by a wheelbase lengthened by 25 cm. The business sedan is equipped with a 1.8 Evo engine with an output of 122 hp and automatic transmission. The model is offered in a choice of three body colors: black "Panther", silver "Platinum" and brown "Coriander".

The Premier starting package includes full LED optics, four airbags, stability control, blind spot monitoring system, front and rear parktronics, heated steering wheel, front seats and rear sofa cushion, as well as air conditioning, cruise control, multimedia Lada Enjoy with a 7-inch screen and other comfort and safety systems.

In Status version the interior is trimmed with genuine leather, additionally there are overlapping cushions on the rear headrests, and heated rear seat includes the backrest. For Aura in Status version it is possible to choose black or two-color trim of a dashboard and a steering wheel, also modification differs top multimedia system (Enjoy Vision Pro with 10-inch tablet, eight speakers and services of "Yandex Auto").

The day before it was reported that AvtoVAZ will present a new B+ segment crossover on the Lada Vesta platform in the summer of 2025 at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). A key project in 2025 will be the launch of Lada Iskra production, and one of the nearest new products will be the Niva Sport SUV. Upgrades to popular models are also planned, including the introduction of a more modern 1.8-liter engine on the Niva family.

On November 26, AvtoVAZ announced the resumption of production of Lada Niva Travel cars with airbags and ERA-GLONASS emergency call system. The SUVs were also equipped with a new steering wheel.
