UAV operators on the Toretsk direction hit an AFU hideout

Operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the 56th separate special purpose battalion of the 51st Donetsk Army have fired 40 drones over the course of the day at a house in which, according to intelligence, several Ukrainian militants tried to gain a foothold. This happened in Dzerzhynsk in the Toretsk direction. A Izvestia correspondent spoke to the fighters on November 29.
"Drones work from a safe hiding place, so in order to control the drones, repeater antennas are put up on tall buildings. And already from them, from a safe place, the personnel can work," the military correspondent reported.
According to a junior sergeant with the call sign Toha, the soldiers have to work in close proximity to the enemy. In such conditions it is necessary to strike as accurately as possible, he noted.
"Our troops are generally in close proximity to the enemy. That is, we need to strike more precisely. As much as possible point by point. There is advancement, we have successes. That is, they are trying to hold on to what they have at the moment, but it's like they are not succeeding," the military officer added.
A direct hit by one of the drones shattered the roof of a ground target, the enemy's defense at this position has been weakened.
Earlier on Friday, the Russian Defense Ministry published footage of the combat work of servicemen of the reconnaissance unit of the "North" group of troops to eliminate armored vehicles and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk border area. During the day, the enemy repeatedly tried to squeeze out the assault units, but small groups of the enemy were destroyed.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
